WOODSIE
Hollywood's Blue Crush

Woodsie is our foundation stud and we truly couldn't ask for a better dog to get us started on the right foot. It's hard to choose what we like best about him - whether it's his structure, his temperament, or his impressive resume including 43 titles under his belt and abundant health tests on not just him, but his offspring as well. Woodsie is naturally muscular with thick bone and a large 23" head on a 19" tall frame.
Woodsie's temperament is that of a big teddy bear - he is dog friendly, stranger friendly, kid friendly, and not prey driven. He has incredible impulse control, and his tail is ALWAYS wagging... which is seemingly a dominant trait he passes onto his offspring. Don't let his kind demeanor fool you though - he is more than willing to work and has plenty of try & heart when requested. He has been trained/campaigned in weight pull, obedience, rally obedience, barn hunt, scent detection, lure course, and wall climb.
He is the MOST health tested American Bully to date and was the only live, registered male American Bully to have OFA Excellent Hips until 2022 (according to the OFA database, there are now two others in the USA now). Woodsie is a one of a kind dog and we truly couldn't be happier owning him - we just hope that we do him some justice!

Brick was a puppy from an outside breeding we did with Woodsie and Breezy - both of his parents are heavily titled and health tested. Breezy is a highly accomplished and well respected weight pull dog and has earned titles in Dock Diving as well. We knew it was a special breeding, but we never expected to keep a puppy from it. Our original plan was to place our pick of the litter in a co-own home, but Brick had other ideas. Little by little, he worked his way into our hearts, and the rest is history.
Brick excelled in everything we introduced him to. He dominated in weight pull, demonstrated tremendous athletic ability in dock diving and was developing into a stellar rally obedience dog. He was powerful, driven and incredibly talented, but beyond his accomplishments, he was a truly special companion and an irreplaceable part of our family.
Shortly after his third birthday, Brick suddenly became severely anemic and was rushed to an emergency clinic for a blood transfusion. Further testing revealed a large mass on his intestine. The mass was surgically removed, but the pathology later confirmed that it was cancer. We were blessed with five more weeks before the cancer returned with a vengeance. After consulting with several specialists and exhausting every reasonable option available to us, we made the heartbreaking decision to let him go. We spent more than $30,000 trying to give him more time, but despite everyone’s best efforts, it simply was not in the cards.
We said goodbye to Brick at the University of Saskatchewan beneath towering trees, beside a small stream and near a patch of daisies. It was a peaceful place for a dog who had brought so much light into our lives. Brick remained at the university for a complete necropsy, and samples of his cancer have been permanently banked to support future research. His case has already contributed to at least one study. Because his cancer was so rare that specialists were never able to definitively classify it, the extensive medical history, diagnostic imaging, pathology and tissue samples associated with his case may provide uniquely valuable information for researchers. Our greatest hope is that his contribution may someday help another family in a way that was not yet possible for us.
Losing Brick was nothing short of soul-crushing. He was such a blessing, such a bright light in my world, and we were supposed to have so many more years and memories together. Although his life was far too short, his impact was immeasurable. He will forever be one of the most special dogs we have ever had the privilege of loving, and I feel so blessed to have been his human in this lifetime.

Tito is our "first round draft pick" male from the 2nd ever litter from two parents who have OFA Excellent Hips for our breed...and he has beautiful structure to boot! He is a very impressive looking dog with a ton of super nice features that are an asset to the breed.
Tito definitely inherited his parents' goofy temperaments, but also their biddability. He will do just about anything for a treat, and is already showing great promise in rally obedience. He is also getting his feet wet in weight pull and scent detection.
He is also Embark Clear like his dad Woodsie which is a HUGE win if we ever decide to breed him, since about 50% of the breed is testing with PRA, DM, IVDD and other inheritable genetic diseases.
