Sunny
Cryptic's Two Faced
This beautiful girl is a "teenage" American Bully, compact and powerful with a soft, thoughtful side. Sunny has the most soulful eyes - she’ll sit quietly and stare at you with such patience and longing that it’s impossible not to smile. She’s eager to please, attentive, and already proving to be a joy to work with. While we didn’t breed her ourselves, she comes from a trusted local breeder and friend at Cryptic Bullies (Edmonton, AB), and we will be training and trialing her here until the right forever home comes along for our sweet Sunny.

He’s completed his preliminary cardiac evaluation and continues to represent the breed beautifully in and out of the show ring.
Their dam, Oil City Bullies Malice, is sound as they come and holds her OFA CHIC certification, with the following health results:
-
OFA Advanced Cardiac Echo – Normal

OFA Patella – Normal
Together, Bleau and Malice combine proven conformation, health, and temperament - and it’s no surprise they’ve produced such lovely, well-balanced pups!
PERSONALITY TRAITS
& Appearance
Sunny is the definition of a sweet, patient, and attentive companion. She’s eager to please, very food motivated, and always making bids to interact with her human. Her eye contact is lovely and focused, and she has a calm, patient nature that makes her a joy to work with. While she’s affectionate and loves attention, Sunny also has a quiet confidence - she’s happy to wait calmly, observe, and engage at her own pace. She’s incredibly eager to learn and very motivated, which makes training straightforward and fun. Sunny has a gentle, lovable presence and is already showing such promise as a devoted, human-focused companion. We’re thrilled to be working with her and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Standing around 16.5” at the shoulder, Sunny is a beautiful little American Bully with a compact, balanced build and quite agile for her size. She has lovely front and rear angles, a strong and level topline, and can move surprisingly fast when she wants to. Her structure and proportions are lovely, giving her a natural “look at me” presence. Though she could certainly be competitive in conformation, Sunny would be just as happy as someone’s beloved pet. She’s a striking girl whose combination of breed type, balance, and personality make her a joy to watch both in motion and at rest.

TRAINING
& Foundation Work
Sunny is progressing through a thoughtfully structured foundation program focused on confidence, manners, and athletic development. She is solidifying core obedience skills including sit, down, stand, stay, leash manners, along with body awareness and conditioning exercises. Her training sessions are consistently smooth and rewarding, thanks to her patience, focus, and eagerness to engage. She receives regular public exposure through outings to pet-friendly stores, training classes, and dog events when available.
She is kennel trained and house trained, and is comfortable crating in both vehicles and busy environments. She already demonstrates excellent patience and calmness, and we continue to reinforce polite household manners such as waiting for permission before accessing furniture or personal space. She is very people-oriented and offers beautiful eye contact, often seeking quiet interaction rather than constant movement.
Sunny attends weekly training classes where the primary focus is maintaining calm, thoughtful behavior around other dogs and people. Trick training has just been introduced, and future development may include conformation, rally obedience, weight pull, slat mill, and additional performance foundations.
NEW HOME
Requirements & Expectations
SPORTS & TITLING: Sunny is a simple girl and doesn't have a burning desire to be involved in sports. If her owner would like to dabble, I'm sure she would be more than willing to give it a go, but there is no requirement for her future home to do competitive sports with her. Sunny is more than content hanging out in the house/yard and doing normal daily things with her owners.
RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP: Sunny is a female bull breed dog, and while she is very sweet, patient, and people-oriented, she still requires responsible management at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, having a secure backyard (or system in place to prevent accidents), never leaving her unattended outside, and keeping her on leash or long line when in high-traffic or unfamiliar areas.
TRAINING & PHYSICAL EXERCISE: Sunny’s ideal new home will value her well-being, manners, and overall health. This includes providing a species appropriate balanced diet, engaging in safe physical activity to keep her fit and happy, and participating in occasional training or enrichment sessions to maintain her skills and mental sharpness.
CONTRACT: Sunny is available on a pet home contract (no breeding), or potentially with a co-ownership agreement (breeding rights to be discussed) to the right person. While she has wonderful qualities that could be considered for breeding, our primary goal is to find her a loving home where she will be cherished and cared for unconditionally.
VET CARE & HEALTH MANAGEMENT: It is very important to us that Sunny’s future owners stay proactive about her health and have a plan in place for emergencies, whether that be through pet insurance or a dedicated savings account. She is currently covered by Trupanion Insurance, which can be transferred to her new family.

Tito is a total love bug with his humans and regularly invades our space demanding attention or moral support while he plays with his toys and "shows us" what he's doing. He reminds me a lot of Woodsie this way - he wants you to be included in whatever he is doing and is almost always within arms reach as you move throughout the house doing chores. Tito is a free spirit that enjoys exploring his environment but most importantly, loves to roll everywhere. Whether he is playing with a toy, out for a walk, or taking a break...chances are, you will find him rolling around on the ground. He LOVES playing with his toys and rubber squishy balls definitely seem to be his toy of choice but he's not picky. He will do just about anything for a good ChuckIt ball and will play fetch for as long as you let him. Tito does not seem to have separation anxiety, he settles wonderfully in his crate and has good impulse control with food and treats. He is a willing participant in care tasks such as bathing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning and nail trims.
Tito, much like his parents, has a lot of enthusiasm but is not overly motivated to be a high level sport dog. However, if you are wanting a companion that is happy to participate and dabble in things, he is your guy! He has done formal training in rally obedience, weight pull, and scent detection. He was exposed to gerbils for barn hunt and did not show much interest as he really has no prey drive or desire to find/chase small animals - though I'm sure we could teach him to alert on the odor for treats if his owner has a strong desire to be involved in it. We will continue to work on life skills and sporty foundations with him as long as we have him, with a strong focus on rally obedience, weight pull and scent detection.
He keeps us laughing constantly with his silly "big head, no thoughts" antics and we have no doubt that his new home will love him as much as we do. He is a total pleasure to have in the home and a super easy guy to keep happy - you bring the activity and he will bring the enthusiasm!
Tito is a beautiful mix of both of his parents. He has great bone, a robust chest, well set shoulders, and a pretty rear all wrapped up in a nice yellow package (correct name for his colour is "Blue Fawn")! He has a beautiful white chest and then he just has a light sprinkle of white on his nose and tips of his toes.
